CDBG-NR 20-C-3631 Program Amendment
Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Garysburg will conduct a public hearing on June 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.in the Board Room at Town Hall located at 504 Old Highway Road, Garysburg, NC 27831 concerning an amendment to the Town’s Community Development Block Grant-Neighborhood Revitalization 20-C-3631 program.
The purpose of this public hearing is to notify citizens and receive comments on the Town’s need to amend the program by requesting additional funds to supplement its current funding to complete the replacement on site of a house for a low and moderate-income resident. Written comments may be submitted by email to garysburg@embarqmail.com, or by mail to the Town Administrator at P.O. Box 278, Garysburg, NC 27831. Responses to written comments will be provided within 10 calendar days.
Persons with disabilities or otherwise needing assistance should contact the Town Administrator at 252-536-2167 or, if hearing impaired, contact TTY/TDD by dialing 7-1-1. Accommodation will be made for all who request assistance. Requests should be made at least two (2) days prior to the public hearing.
