Notice of Public Hearing: Public Input in the potential of a Land & Water Conservation Grant

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Town of Garysburg Board of Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing. Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 6:30 p.m at Garysburg Town Hall located at 504 Old Highway Road.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public input in the potential of a Land and Water Conservation Grant to be submitted to the Land and Water Conservation Fund. The public is invited to attend this hearing and to present their views regarding the proposed project. The Grant is for the Fig and Poplar Street Park located in Garysburg, North Carolina.

Written comments will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. the day of the hearing. Those comments should be sent to Mayor Kyjuan Faison Mobley. Request for special announcements should also be submitted to the mayor's office at least twenty - four (24) hours before scheduled meeting.
